Mjolnir – Thor: Love and Thunder – Cracked with LEDs

Now you can own your very own Mjolnir without having to travel to Nidavellir to have Eitri and the Dwarves forge yours in the heart of a dying star. This fully functional replica of Jane Foster’s Mjolnir from the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder movie will surely impress. This model features LED lights inside to give it a glow just like in the movie. The side panel is held in place with eight neodymium magnets. Under this panel you can easily access the switch to turn the lights on and off. Along with the included 9v battery that powers the LEDs. All the electronics are secured in place and do not rattle around inside the main body. All wiring is soldered and covered with shrink tube.

Part of the finishing process involves coating most of the outside walls of this print with an ABS-like photo resin coating to ensure no layer lines are visible. I do my best to make sure that this does not look like it was 3D printed. In addition the photo resin allows me to create intentional imperfections to add to the realism of this print.

The handle is made using Oak PLA (20% wood) and stained using an oil based wood stain. This provides a very realistic look and feel. There is a premium leather strap that is held in place with two long nails down into the handle. This provides a secure grip. Though we don’t recommend swinging it around like you’re really Thor or Jane Foster. 😂 To add stability to the handle, there is a 10mm wooden dowel that runs through the core up into the light model inside the hammer head. The whole thing has two coats of clear paint on top, to add to its durability.

A matching Oak wood PLA stand is also available for your Mjolnir. The base, just like the handle, is made from Oak PLA and is stained with an oil based wood stain. Then a clear coat of paint added to give the finish a protection (No clear coat can be requested). This Mjolnir is 17 inches tall, 9 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. This height does not include the leather strap.
