This policy explains processing times, carriers, tracking, and delivery expectations for orders placed with Made by Rice 3D Studio. Because we ship both in-house 3D printed items and made-to-order wearables fulfilled by Printful, shipping timelines can vary by product type.
Shipping at a Glance
- Processing time: Varies by item type (in-stock vs. made-to-order).
- Tracking: Provided by email once your order ships (when available).
- Multiple shipments: Possible if your order contains different item types.
- Return shipping: Customer-paid unless we confirm the issue was our error.
In-House 3D Printed Items
In-house items are designed, printed, assembled, and finished by Made by Rice 3D Studio. Processing time depends on whether the item is in stock or made to order.
- In-stock: Usually ships within 1–3 business days.
- Made-to-order: Usually ships within 3–7 business days (depending on workload and complexity).
- Large/fragile props: May require additional packing time.
Wearables & Apparel (Printful)
Apparel is produced on demand and fulfilled by Printful. Production and shipping timelines are determined by Printful’s production queue and carrier transit times.
- Production: Typically a few business days after purchase.
- Transit: Varies by destination and carrier.
- Separate shipments: Printful items may ship separately from in-house items.
Tracking & Delivery Expectations
- Once shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking (when available).
- Carrier tracking may take up to 24 hours to update after the label is created.
- If a package is marked “delivered” but not received, please check around the delivery location and with household members first.
- If you still can’t locate it, contact us and we’ll help you work with the carrier.
Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
- If you notice an address error, contact us immediately. We’ll do our best to update it before shipment.
- If an order has already shipped, we may be unable to reroute it depending on the carrier.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on item type, weight/size, and destination.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- For Printful items, rates and packaging may differ from in-house shipments.
Damaged or Missing Packages
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing items, contact us within 7 days of delivery and include clear photos. We’ll review and provide a practical resolution (replacement, refund, or carrier claim support depending on the case).
